About

Dr. Denise J. Williams is a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn.  She holds several degrees including a doctorate in biblical studies. In addition, she is also a published photographer & journalist with some of her previous work appearing in Jacksonville Magazine and The Florida Star newspaper. Currently, she is an editor and photojournalist for Coastal Today Magazine; all in Jacksonville, FL.

“The Healing Of A Broken Vessel” was her first literary effort and was for a time listed in Spring Arbor, Ingram’s Christian wing’s database in 2009. Her second effort, “Chambers of the Believing Heart” was released in June 2012.

Dr. Williams has over thirty years of ministry experience and her focus is assisting the hurting to recover from any form of trauma. In early 2001, she moderated a weekly caller driven radio show on WSVE entitled “Real Talk with Brother Herman”. In 2009 she spearheaded a letter writing campaign for prison inmates in Texas, volunteered at a local nursing home and tutored young women at PACE Center for Girls; an at risk high school in Jacksonville, FL. Currently, she hosts a weekly conference call prayer meeting and healing workshops that empower women to embrace who they are in the body of Christ.

Dr. Williams cultivates others by teaching them how to incorporate proper application of biblical principles into everyday life.  Her God given directive is to assist others in healing from emotional, physical or sexual abuse. Her desire is to share the message that a Christ centered relationship is the only viable catalyst to experiencing God’s unconditional love and restoration!
