The climate in America and the world is reaching a fever pitch. Confusion, hate, rioting and terrorist activity is erupting worldwide. As more subversive groups arise, people are living in fear. This demonic fear is driving even believers into making poor decisions by seeking comfort outside of Christ. In the wake of these horrendous events in which innocent people are being targeted and murdered, God is on the cusp of sending a word to the faithful. He is about to reveal His detailed message to those who have their ear to the ground; who are actively listening for His direction. On Monday, August 21, 2017, an eclipse of epic proportion will appear in our solar system, the Milky Way. God, throughout the centuries has often spoken to His people in the stars. In Matthew 2:9 God guided the wise men to the manger with a star so that they could find and worship the baby Jesus. This is just one significant example of how our awesome God speaks to His church. One thing to note is that at the time of Jesus’ birth there was also societal calamity, much like today.
In researching this eclipse I discovered there will be only 14 states to have optimal viewing of the total eclipse or Totality. They are:
Oregon
Idaho
Montana
Nebraska
Wyoming
Kansas
Missouri
Iowa
Illinois
Kentucky
Tennessee
Georgia
North and South Carolina
While it’s great to know locations, there is a deeper meaning. God is speaking to the saints through the numbers. The number 14 represents double perfection, Seven and seven. It speaks to a doubled spiritual perfection. God is calling His people to learn what their prophetic gifts are so that those gifts can be perfected for spiritual warfare. We know we are living in the last days and now it is time to fight in the spirit. The unbridled perversion and seduction in the United States has led to a decaying society. We can only slow the progression of this evil by realizing we’re not wrestling against flesh and blood.
Our God will show us the majesty of our savior; the master prophet and great high priest. His lineage is traceable through 42 generations. Seven, perfection multiplied by six, the number of humanity. How can we not love Him! He allowed His divininty to meet our humanity. He, our perfect sinless lamb came to save us (Matthew 1). In addition, there are fourteen generations from Josias to Joseph (Mary’s husband-Matthew 1:1-17). Again fourteen points us to biblical numerology signifying double perfection. He is our perfect, sinless Savior!
So what does this all mean for God’s people? For one thing, let’s look at when the last totality eclipse occurred. It happened ninety-nine years ago. Nine fruits of the spirit and there are nine gifts of the spirit. It is a reminder that God has not abandoned the church. We as prophetic beings are about to embrace the greatest hour of the church. I believe that God is speaking to His people and that the gifts will manifest as never before. True prophetic people will begin to operate in the miraculous. There is no need for believers to fear or dread the next dispensation in our government or in society. No worries beloved, God is still fully in control.
What message will the eclipse send to God’s people?
First, this eclipse will showcase the power of God. In the midst of this climate of uncertainty that opposing governments have created, God is about to show the world through his people that He is still on the throne. His power and majesty are to be reverenced.
Second, the eclipse will address believers in a unique way. Those who are aligned with His agenda will hear His voice even more clearly in order to properly discern what the sleeping church needs to do in order to get back into position. This event is a clarion call to seasoned believers to fall on their faces in prayer to seek God concerning end time ministry and remove any distractions they may have fallen into.
Thirdly, God is causing the earth to be renewed in response to His presence. Romans 8:21-23. This passage speaks of the earth groaning, and how deliverance will come from the bondage of corruption (Romans 8:21). This speaks to the exact climate we are living in today. The eclipse will be the literal presence of God manifesting Himself to let humanity know we are in a precarious season spiritually.
The kids use this expression “Stay Woke”. We need to get in that place of being “AWAKE” and allow God to use us in this dispensation. The bible says this is just the beginning of sorrows but the end is not yet (Matthew 24:8-13)! There is yet more that has to come to pass before Jesus returns. But let us remember we can have peace amidst the chaos. Not as the world offers, but the peace that only comes from the Lord (John 14:27). Let not your hearts be troubled…
